Carrot and Cardamom is a delicious duo that is popular in Indian desserts like burfi, and carrot shake is a common refresher in Southeast Asia, so why not combine the two! This is a very easy-to-make shake that is full of flavour and is quite satisfying.
For 3 servings
3 large carrots, peeled and chopped
1 cup water
1 cup soy milk (or coconut, or almond or rice)
1 teaspoon ground cardamom
2 tablespoons sugar, (or other sweeteners- to taste)
Add the raw carrots, water, milk, and cardamom to a blender, and blend until the carrots have pulped. Gradually add sugar to taste. You can optionally blend one cup of ice cubes to the drink, making it more like a chilled slush.

Vote #3! Will have to look for cardamon at the grocery store. I have never used it.

I chew a piece as a breath freshener. Really, this is far better than TicTacs

Voted. Carrots in a shake, what an unusual idea! It sounds delicious, and few ingredients too, which is what I like! (Sometimes I would love to try recipes but the list of ingredients puts me off, because of all the traipsing round the shops trying to find them!)

Oooohhhhh, wouldn't maple syrup instead of sugar just be wonderful in this? I admit, I'm such a maple syrup addict that I could drink a glass - straight! And what a wonder cardamom is... for the breath!!! Voted! I'm on a list craze lately. My new one is Veg Organisations Across the World. Enjoy!
