So, you're at the cutting board, innocently making your favorite kale dish. Everything's going fine. You chop the kale, and the other accoutrements you desire. But what are you going to do with that kale stub you are left with? Toss it into that round, smelly receptacle? Nyet! Compost it? Sure, that's a great alternative; however, there's another option that I have my eye on. What is it, you ask? Well, let me tell you. That stub that you possess in your hands has wonderful powers. It's like magic! What I propose is instead of condemning that fleshy undesirable to a landfill grave, it can be reborn (quite literally, in fact) by placing it lovingly in some yummy soil. It doesn't have to be fully submerged – just enough to allow for it to enjoy the sweet benefits of its earthen home. Before long, you will witness vegetable reincarnation, as the signature frilly leaffies will soon emerge to greet the sun, and your smiling face :-). So, next time you find yourself with some kale, don't toss that seemingly unexciting stump out, for it is not an end, but a new beginning. The stump is half full! hehe
Awesome! (*^_^*)
