I’ve always been a great mayo and mustard sauce fan through school years and loved my junk food escapades. Lately though I began to grow health conscious and started to choose healthier options. I do like to opt for healthy, nutritious and vegetarian options especially when eating outside. I have put together a list of vegan dips and ask each one of you to add more to the list so that all of us can expand our choices and try the mix of various flavors. You can use these on sandwiches, warm pitas, rolls and nachos. So here it is, for dipping your munchies!
1. Hummus – A chickpea dip made with Chickpeas, Lemon juice, Garlic, Tahini, Salt and Olive oil blended together.
2. Baba Ganoush – is made with grilled Eggplants, Olive oil, Lemon juice, Chili powder, Tahini and Parsley blended together.
3. Guacamole – Chopped Avocados, Tomato, Onion, Cilantro, Garlic, Salt and Pepper mashed together

Vote #6! I have been wanting to try hummus since I have heard so many people talking about this dip! Thanks!
-
Hang on.... you've never had hummus? You have got to get on that quick, girl! Stop by the next organic grocery store you see and buy one! You won't regret it!
-
WHAAAAAAT Carolyn, you are a vegan, and you have never tried hummus??? Where have you been??!! LOL. Do try it, it is a godsend for us, for sandwiches, etc, if you can't get vegan cheese or meat substitutes.
-
Or, even if you have the meat-substitute, it still adds lots of yummy flavour!

numbers 7, 8 and 10 look scrumptious! Voted! I would add: refried beans, tomato juice or fresh tomatoes, optional jalapeños, blended or heated in a pan. Good as a sauce for fries instead of chili or cheese. Have you had a chance to read my latest post? I speak about how dairy is now only suggested in the American Food Guide.

Great ideas - I will definitely make some of these. Voted. Check out my cantaloupe popsicle post and vote if you like:)

Thank you everybody...I am going to stop by each of your posts and comment...:)
