Being vegan has become easier and easier in the past few years, thanks in part to the huge number of vegan options available in stores and restaurants alike. If you’re lucky enough to live near a Trader Joe’s, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. Not only do TJ’s have a great range of vegan products, but they do the one thing that vegans everywhere love: CLEARLY LABEL THEIR VEGAN PRODUCTS!
This makes it a great place to shop: you don’t have to spend hours and hours checking labels for hidden ingredients like milk powder, whey, gelatine etc. Not only do clearly marked labels help to find vegan products, but they also promote vegan food and make non-vegans aware when they are eating something that happens to be vegan and delicious! I have a number of (non-vegan) friends who have in fact introduced me to vegan products they have found at TJ’s, and I honestly believe that clearly labeling products as vegan may encourage people to try a vegan diet, or at least to believe that vegan food can be delicious!
Sure, pre-packaged foods aren’t the best for us, but sometimes it’s difficult to finish a busy day from work and cook a nutritious meal from scratch. For this reason, I always like to have some pre-packaged vegan meals from TJ’s in the freezer. Just sayin’, the vegetable panang curry with jasmine rice is deeeeeeeeeeeeee-licious.
So, if you’re in need of some easy, delicious vegan treats that are clearly labeled, Trader Joe’s may be just the place to visit. And if you’re interested in just what’s available for vegans at TJ’s, this Instagram page has pics, reviews and some awesome feedback on a huge number of products from Trader Joe’s.
Feel free to comment and let me know your favorite TJ’s vegan products!
