We’ve all seen the commercials. We hear the first few notes of that sad song, and we know what’s coming. We watch the hungry, abused lonely animals shivering in their cages, and we want to help. We NEED to help. But sometimes our bank accounts just don’t allow for it. So what’s an animal lover to do?
Luckily, there are several ways to donate or support animals without spending any money at all!
The next time you make a purchase from Amazon, use Amazon Smile. It’s simple – go to the Amazon Smile homepage, log into your Amazon account, and choose your favorite animal rescue or charity. Amazon will then donate a portion of the purchase you make from the Amazon Smile website to that charity! Just make sure you’re on the Smile site when completing your purchase.
Goodsearch and Goodshop
Goodsearch and Goodshop live within the same website, which makes it easy to use both. Sign up with your Facebook account or email address, choose from more than 110,000 charities, and search the Internet – every search will send a penny to your charity of choice. When shopping online, search the site for your store, find valuable coupons, and access the store through Goodshop. A portion of your purchase will be donated to your charity. You may actually save money while helping animals!
Before heading out on your next dog walk, download the Charity Miles app to your iPhone or Android.
