Summer is all about parties, whether having your parties at the local beach, or bringing the beach to your own backyard. In this article, I will attempt to bring the beach to your backyard, especially for the people who don't live near the beach.
The first step involves gathering all the beach items you own, which include barbeque grill, picnic table, folding chairs and tables, ice box, drink dispensers, large galvanized buckets, towels, wooden crates, beach chairs, beach ball, Frisbee, Twister, volleyball, Nerf balls, and other outdoor games.
Outdoor party food consist of potatoes, corn on the cob, herbs, Vegan hot dogs, sausages and burgers, buns, pita bread, vegetables, lemons, limes, oranges, watermelon, cantaloupe, melon, bananas, papaya, and pineapple. Then, put chopped onions, relish, mustard, tomatoes, salsa, Vegan butter, nut butter, and other sauces each in separate containers so that guests could help themselves to what they want, similar to a buffet table setup. You can also create a Vegan shish kabob of fruits, vegetables and Vegan meat pieces grilled on a stick. Then, dip these pieces into your favorite sauce, olive oil, melted Vegan cheese, or vinegar. Fill drink dispensers with favorite drinks, such as fresh-squeezed lemonade, fresh-squeezed orange juice, ice tea, and/or mineral water as well as lots of ice.
Outdoor furniture for your backyard should either be wooden crates or galvanized metal buckets. These buckets are filled with ice in order to keep bottles of various drinks cold. Also, add some melamine dishes, as well as colorful but plastic plates, bowls, cups, glasses, and utensils. Instead of your usual tablecloth, why not spread some newspaper over your picnic table and other outdoor tables. You can also use smaller pieces of newspaper as placemats for the people seated on the towels. They might also want to use wooden crates as low tables. Add some Tikis, torches, lanterns, and coconut shells for decoration.
Second step involves setting up the seating arrangement, which includes the lawn chairs, beach chairs and towels all over the lawn, in a picnic setting. Add some beach umbrellas to decorate the casual environment. If there is a swimming pool in the backyard, then that can be a substitute for the ocean. But if there isn't any pool, then use water guns and other water toys to cool off in the hot sun.
