What down home cooking could a home cooked meal be without fried potatoes, scrambled eggs, biscuits, bacon, stewed apples, cream tomatoes, and a tall cup of cold glass milk to boot be on a cold winter moring?
I remember many a times, as a child growing up in a small town called Clendenin, West Virginia when, my mother, two brothers, and I would spend the weekends visiting our grandparents. On an occastional weekend of our visits, we'd wakd up to the smell of breakfast being made.
I've enjoyed those times with family. I wished, that there was a way, for a person to be able to go back into time and relive their life over. I would cherish every moment, that I had the opportunity to do so with all family members.
As the years when by, all I have left now, is only the memories that is forver in my head. I will never forget those, fond memories till the day, I die.

Vote #3! Teresa, I am assuming that you are referring to rice or almond milk and other vegan products! I love fried potatoes! Glad to see you posting on The Flaming Vegan again!

Hey, did you steal this recipe from my parents??? Ha! They make their own version. But, they have one difference: they are huge on making large dinners and eating the leftovers for lunches during the week, so they always had ready-cooked potatoes. They don't use Worcestershire sauce, though, but that's the only difference. And, they usually served them with baked beans, a slice of toast and a side of raw, sliced veggies like cucumbers and carrots. Voted!

No, Snake Witch, I didn't steal this from your parents. I know, you're only joking. I just thought of it as I went along. My grandparents too, always had large meals also. I miss those days when everyone sat around the dinner table and talked about what was on their minds. Wished, that we could go back to those days. Only in our memories now, huh?
