Starting your day right is a must. You have heard the saying "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day", and this is true. I used to struggle with what to eat for breakfast. I did not want to eat something that I would get tired of, so sometimes I would choose something unhealthy. However, I wanted my body to love what it was given not hate it, so I chose to eat fruit for breakfast. I found that fruit is one of the best things you can start your day with. Fruits are delicious, very filling, and they is so much to choose from so you dont have to have the same fruit everyday!
My breakfast consists of half an apple (green apple), a few strawberries and a banana. I was amazed at how satisfied I felt after I was done eating. Of couse I am only 4'8", so it doesnt take much to fill me up.
I am also a short housewife so I have more time than most working woman to sit down and enjoy a good breakfast.
If you are one of those lovely ladies that works hard and doesnt have much time but still wants to eat healthy, turn your fruits into a smoothie. Making a smoothie does not take very long. If you have your fruit already cut (and you can do this the night before) all you have to do is put it in your blender and take it with you! This way, you dont have to stop at a fast food restaurant and spend money on unhealthy foods. If you find that after driking a smoothie you are still not full, take a few nuts with you. Almonds, cashews, walnuts or any nut of your choice would be a great little treat and it will give you that feeling of satisfaction.
We live in a busy world but that doesnt have to keep us from eating healthy. I hope this simple advice helps you to start your day right!
