A big misconception is that if you eat Vegan or Vegetarian it lacks flavor. Cooking Latin dishes is all about flavor. To create that smokey flavor in dishes with peppers the best way to achieve this is to sweat your peppers. Check out my video for a tutorial.
HERE'S THE HOW TO
Place your peppers directly on your stove top and char your peppers. This will take about 1 minute on each side. Remove from heat and wrap in a paper towel and place in a plastic bag, seal the bag and let the pepper sweat for about 5 minutes. After the pepper sweats remove the charred coating from the pepper and use it in your dishes....The result is a complex smokey flavor....Que Rico!!!
