Scrumptious Spaghetti

Eating healthy and making your own food takes time and effort, but like how I always tell my mother, eating healthy makes dishes even more delicious, especially knowing that your family and friends love it as well. I try to incorporate and use as much vegetables as I can when I make my dishes and seeing my family and friends eat a healthy meal I have served them, trust me, it's a really good feeling.

Scrumptious Spaghetti Ingredients:

1 can of spaghetti mushroom sauce

1 bag of spaghetti pasta

1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon of pepper

1/2 teaspoon of oregano

1 teaspoon of sugar

1/3 teaspoon of salt

1 tomato (chopped up into dices)

3/4 cup of chopped onions

2/4 cups of chopped zucchini

1/2 cup of chopped olives

2/4 cup of chopped green bell pepper

1/3 cup of chopped carrots

3/4 cup of chopped mushrooms

1/4 cup of vegan cheese

1. Boil a pan of water and cook the spaghetti pasta according to the directions on the back of the pasta. While we wait for the pasta to be done, take a large pan/skillet to be able to sauté the vegetables. To continue, sauté the chopped onions, tomatoes, zucchinis, olives, green bell pepper, carrots, and mushrooms together. Put a dash of salt and sugar for a little flavor into it.

2. After the vegetables are soft, get a pot and pour the spaghetti mushroom sauce into it and add the vegetables from the pan also. Remember to try and avoid putting oil into the sauce when you add your vegetables. Finally, add your pepper, garlic powder, and oregano. Stir a little and wait for it to boil.

3. Check back on your pasta to see if its soft, afterwards, drain the water out and let it dry up for a bit.

4. After your spaghetti sauce is boiled and you have drained your pasta, serve it on a plate, and add your cheese, then voila!

Welcome to The Flaming Vegan Ayeetuween! The idea for zuchinni in spaghetti sounds tasty.....I imagine it adds a crunch to the dish if you don't over cook it. Voted!
