Hello,
If your Kids are anything like mine, then they don’t like ‘lumpy’ food, especially my youngest enjoys food that has a smooth texture, with a crunchy crust.
I hope you enjoy making our ‘Smooth Kids Burger’s’ let me know what you think!
Enjoy & All the Best
Naomi

- 240g (dry weight) Red Kidney Beans
- 240g (dry weight) Chick Peas
- ½ cup Flour
- ½ Onion 2 Garlic Gloves
- ½ Juice from a fresh Lemon
- ¼ cup Water
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
- Handful fresh Parsley
- Sunflower Oil
Step 1
Add the beans, chick peas, onion, garlic, lemon juice, parsley, salt and pepper into the blender and mix well
Step 2
Slowly add water until you get a smooth consistency
Step 3
Use a tablespoon to take a portion of mix and dust with flour before frying
Step 4
Serve with sweet potato chips & tomato sauce and a fresh side salad
Tip: This recipe is for about 12 burgers. I deep freeze half of the fried burgers until they have cooled down, which saves me a lot of time during the week. To reheat the burgers I quick fry them without oil in a coated pan.
