Well, this one is an inspiration from the cooking sessions I keep attending every now and then. I remember tasting some awesome salads at one such session and became a salad fan ever since. Raw Kale salad with Apples is one that’s super easy to toss up and super healthy too. I generally team it with a nice warm soup for a feel good healthy dinner.
All you need for this salad is a bunch of fresh Kale, apples of your choice and not more than fifteen minutes of your time. I’ve used Washington apples as I had those in my kitchen and like them for their sweet taste. You can use any apples of your choice.
Ingredients (Serves 2):
• 1 bunch raw Kale chopped
• 1 Apple diced
• 2 cloves Garlic minced
• ¼ cup Pecans
• ¼ cup Cranberries
• 1 tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar
Chop the Kale, dice the apples and mince the garlic. In a bowl take a tablespoon balsamic vinegar. Now add the minced garlic. Add the chopped kale and apples and mix well so the vinegar is properly coated. Now add the pecans and cranberries and toss a little. If you like you could adjust the taste with salt and pepper. And your Raw Kale salad with Apples is ready to serve. Especially great for summers its light and perfectly healthy!
