Meat Can Never Give Us What Herbs Can

It has long been assumed that meat should be a part of our diet because it has something that we need to live healthily. The same has been scientifically proven to be incorrect belief. It can be difficult, but vegetarian diet is sufficient to provide most of the nutrition that a human body needs. If you decide to be a vegan, it does not mean you will fulfill all your nutritional needs just by being one. You need to eat carefully and mindfully and may also need to take the help of some natural organic health supplements.

I am not going into much factual information about that in this post, but rather share some information about a very beneficial herb. This one was prescribed to me by an Ayurvedic doctor and I was surprised to see how a simple looking bush can have so many health benefits. It is called shatavari (botanical name asparagus officinalis) and it mainly takes care of fertility issues in women. Though this herb is now available in the form of tablets that are convenient to consume, and it is obviously best to consume fresh root juice of this plant.

One does not need to have an issue with the reproductive system in order to consume shatavari. It can be taken regularly by all women as a part of their diet because it is a female tonic that takes care of issues before they arise. This simple herb is capable of much more. It maintains hormonal balance and improves your libido naturally. It helps in PMS symptoms, menopause and post delivery needs. What more can you ask for from a single glass of juice?

Well, now the question is where to find it..It is grown in Asian as well as African countries. The plant might not grow well in Europe and Americas but you can always find the tablets at Ayurvedic medical stores. Best option is to order online. There are hardly and nutrients in meat, except salmon fish oil that contains omega-3 fatty acids. Research the ancient science of medicine and you will find different types of herbs that were used in those products, no meat anywhere.     I always knew this. Never felt the need to go for meat for my nutritional needs. And I think 60% people think about eating meat only to treat their taste buds without caring about nutrition. As for Shatavari, I would like to add that it is not just a "ladies herb", as it is thought of, in India specially. It works as good on males as it is on females, for well being of reproductive system.
