I could waste my life away perusing Etsy for funky and chic finds for my home. Recently, I’ve been fascinated by produce prints and patterns to add some color to my kitchen (yes, patterns really do fascinate me). Even though the hazy summer months are coming to an end, every food prep space needs a little infusion of fun. So here are some great products that positively evoke August’s fresh-picked harvest.
Prices are in Canadian Dollar.
Cherry Tea Towel: castlecalligraphy, New York, USA.
Materials: Watercolor, eco friendly ink on cotton linen blend fabric.
This eco friendly tea towel has just the right hint of color to spruce up any oven. Bring some juiciness into your home with this all-natural, painted towel.
Bees Tea Cozy: lottieanndesigns, UK
Materials: Cotton, insulating wadding.
Although you may not need to keep your tea cozy in August, this nice and neat cozy is versatile enough for the whole year with it’s muted natural hue and delightful bee pattern.
Buff Orpington Jug: TheSkinnyCardCompany, UK
With a bright orange chicken on the jug, it’s not hard to see why this product stood out to me. What could be more pleasant than serving your friends and family with nice chilled lemonade from this lovely piece?
Watermelon Coaster: ToryMakes, USA.
Material: Acrylic Yarn
This coaster is not only adorable, but it can’t break around children or pets (or clumsy adults). ToryMakes makes other fruit designed coasters, but there’s something about the watermelon that really says summer.
Relationship Status Mug: WeArePaperPlane, UK
I am obsessed with avocados and it pains me that they aren’t in season where I live. This cute and playful mug nicely sums up my appreciation for that … fruit.
P.S Avocados are fruit?
"Follow the Rhino" Print: retrowhale
Materials: fine art paper, pigment ink
The sheer lunacy of this picture is what struck me. Every kitchen should have some humour in it. What better way to getting people (or perhaps yourself) laughing then with a slightly off-kilter conversation piece?
Full Linen Apron with Pockets: feellinen, Latvia.
Materials: Baltic flax, pure linen, eco linen, natural linen lace.
· Ships to select countries.
I’ve always wanted a simple apron and the blue hue of this one is perfectly cheerful for the kitchen. It has three pockets and the hem reaches to about the knees. It’s ideal for whipping up a great meal or even doing chores outside.
