Some surprising food for thought! In the same way that not all not all well-known vegan foods are healthy, some traditionally unhealthy foods surprisingly happen to be vegan! These might not be foods adequate for every day eating, but it is worth noting that they exist, particularly if you ever find yourself in a bind or stranded in one of the western world's iconic food deserts. This could also simply make life easier when you're in a different kind of pinch, like an "I don't have time to bake a pie crust from scratch today!" kind of pinch before an event. Without further adieu, here they are:
- Poptarts, unfrosted
- Hershey’s chocolate syrup
- Bisquick pancake mix
- A1 steak sauce
- Barbeque sauce
- Most store bought pie crusts, graham, and pastry dough
- Oreos
- Dark chocolate
- Nutter Butter
- Fritos
- Entenmann's Cherry snack pie
- Keelber vienna fingers
- Nestle chocolate syrup
- Smuckers marshmallow topping
- Sara Lee cherry pie
- Pilsburry crecent rolls
- Spicy sweet chili doritos
- Airheads
- Skittles
- Lays stacks
- Sour patch kids
- Twizzlers
They're not very healthy, but they are vegan.

... "most store bought pie crusts"?? Really?? Almost all have lard, Pilsbury, and all the store brand I've found except Whole Foods do

Thanks. This gives me some ideas for Snack Sundays.

Aside from natural Dark Chocolate, I'm stayin' way far away from anything else on that list. ;)
