  5. Let cool over night in a bowl. Have your ice cream maker base chilling in the freezer over night. If possible, chill for up to two days.
  6. Pour the chilled avocado mix into your ice cream mixer base and turn it on to the direction on your mixer once you see the sorbet coming together add in the chocolate chips or any other topping you like as well.
  7. Once it's done in the mixer you can eat as is over place it back into the freezer to keep frozen until serving.

The richness of the avocado gives you that thick creaminess you would if your were eating cows milk ice cream. A nice pop of lemon juice and the sweetness of chocolate is a fantastic contrast.

I am new to the world of being completely vegan. I have come upon this site. It is amazing and all the recipes here are so good. I want to try and learn more about being vegan. I want to vote for all the recipes and all the posts here. I am new to this site and it says I only have 5 votes today. I have already voted on some recipes. I will be back everyday there is so much to read here. When I come back I will see if this will allow me to vote for you. I promise I will check this out again and vote for this one tomorrow. Thank you for taking your time to share this reicpes with everyone here. This looks very refreshing. I have to find a way to copy all this information down and put it in my kitchen cook book. I do not have a simple way to just look them up and cook from a computer like I see so many do. I look forward to seeing more recipes here on this site. Thank you again for sharing this with everyone.

Thank you I will do that, looking at different writings help under stand the Vegan diet, my background is in pastry and baking, when you make the sorbet if you find it not as sweet as you like you may add 1/2 cup more of sugar to the water step and it should give a little more sweetness. Thank you again.

Very refreshing and I would like to suggest that you stop using sugar in your cooking. This one is very bad for your health and not one that should be continued. I also understand when anyone says sugar we can use raw sugar in our food which are better for us. I will have to make this one soon.

The fatness from the avocados give you such a creamy mouth feel. I was happy with the out come of this, I use to just use fruits and thought well let's see, some of my creations come out Wow what was I thinking but this was a good revamp of your classic sorbet. I hope you get to try this and let me know how you liked it.
