Here is a nice way to infuse some vegan thoughts into your kids. Petakids.com has a very cool collection of games that your kids will absolutely love. I was checking the site out of curiosity and discovering the games was pure serendipity. Personally I never like or support games that involve wars, mafias and bloodshed. There is so much all around already, why add to that? Everyone and especially the kids should stay away from these because I feel that these can have dangerous impact upon the easily impressionable and delicate minds of children. Enough of destruction… let’s spread some love.
The site has a nice collection of games. I played two out of these: ‘Elephants Never Forget’ and ‘New Super Chick Sisters’. While the first one is a memory game where you have to match the cards, the second one is programmed in the Mario-style, has Pamela Anderson as the captured princess and Ronald McDonald as the villain planning his ‘unhappy meals’! If you love Mario you are going to simply adore this. Check out the website for these and more and don’t be surprised if you find yourself getting addicted to saving Princess Pamela!

Vote no 2. Yes, I think these kind of games are a great idea too. I have heard that studies showed that kids who regularly spend time playing those shoot-'em-up computer games definitely become more aggressive and anti-social, fact. It sounds to me like the games you mention in your blog can still keep kids engaged and appeal to their natural competitiveness, but without the destructive effects of the violent ones.

Hi Veganara. You are absolutely right about the games. Switching to a non-violent version is a nice way to nurture childhood as it should be. And thanks for your vote.
