When I think of the word, "Flaming," I think of fire. To be on fire for a cause such as Christiananity is to be so caught up that your every waking thoughts and actions are directed at the cause. The cause becomes a part of your being...your very existence.
Natasha Bedingfield said, "No one else can speak the words on your lips. Drench yourself in words unspoken. Live your life with arms wide open. Today is where your book begins. The rest is still unwritten." Why not complete your bucket list now...and not wait until you are at death's doorstep and no longer have the energy or health to follow your passion? A quote from Ray Charles reads, "You should live every day like it's your last day because one day you're gonna be right."
Many of you have a true passion for a vegan lifestyle. Some people stick their so called "big toe" into the vegan pot out of curiosity. Many people believe that it is cruel to test products at the expense of animals and first stop purchasing beauty products that utilize animal testing. Others feel that it is wrong to kill animals for their meat, fur coats, or animal skins. These people start by not eating meat and not purchasing leather or fur products. Others are curious if a vegan lifestyle will lead to a healthier life.
This site is an opportunity to share your passion with other people. The number of articles has significantly dropped recently on The Flaming Vegan. I would like to challenge each and every one of you to pull out the keyboard and put thoughts to computer and post articles that come straight from the heart. Keep this site alive! It takes lots of visitors to the site each and every day to keep the site running. Invite friends and family members to visit the site, read the articles, vote and leave comments.
Some of you may enjoy the site and want it to keep running, but don't know how to write. For the most part visitors to the site are looking for depth in the writing and not correct grammar. Wendell Berry says, "It may be when we no longer know what to do, we have come to our real work, and that when we no longer know which way to go, we have begun our real journey."
Maybe your passion lies elsewhere. In either case, I would like to encourage you to follow your dreams! A quote by Les Brown reads, "I believe that life is a journey, often difficult and sometimes incredibly cruel, but we are well equipped for it if only when we tap into our talents and gifts and allow them to blossom." Yes life can be difficult, but this site allows you to meet friends with similar interests and passions and share ideas and thoughts. Will you do your part?
