Creamy Vegan Corn Nuggets in 5 Simple Steps

Prep Time: 30 minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes

I am going to share a very simple recipe that takes only a few minutes to prepare. These vegan corn nuggets are a great dish to use as a party popper, or you can just have it as an appetizer. These nuggets have a crispy covering and a creamy flavor inside which gives this dish a mouthwatering twist.

Things you will need:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • ½ cup boiled sweet corn
  • ½ cup non diary soy milk
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ cup semolina
  • ½ teaspoon red chili powder
  • Water
  • Oil for frying

Step 1: Add the ginger paste, garlic paste, boiled sweet corn, non-diary milk, salt, and red chili powder to a bowl and mix together. Step 2: Now make small balls from the mixture. The size of the balls can be around 2 inches in diameter. Step 3: Next take another bowl and put some flour and water in it. Mix the flour and water to prepare the batter, check the consistency of the batter. The batter should not be diluted or very thick. Step 4: Now take a ball and dip the ball in the batter. Sprinkle semolina on the ball for a crunchy texture. Do the same for all the balls prepared from the mixture. Step 5: Heat some oil in a pan and put the nuggets slowly in to the pan. Now let the nuggets fry for 5 minutes. Once the color of the nuggets turns golden brown remove the nuggets from the pan.

That’s all! Your nuggets are ready. Serve them piping hot. You can have the nuggets with vegan ketchup or some chutney.
