My post has more votes than some of the articles in the Top Posts section, but is still in New Posts. How can that be?
The ranking algorithm counts different votes in different ways. For instance, if many votes for one post appear to come from within the same household, then those votes don't count as much as votes that come from completely different households.

How do I get paid if I am voted to the top page?
We'll pay you via PayPal within 10 business days for posts that made it to the homepage.

How do I vote for blogs I like?
Every post has an "It's hot!" button near it. Just hover your mouse over that and...click!

I forgot my password. What do I do to retrieve it?
On the login page there is a "Forgot your password" link - click that.

What if my topic doesn't fit directly into any category?
Wing it! Just pick the category that is closest to what you are thinking. There's a good chance we'll be adding sub-categories soon.

Can I link my blog to this website or do I have to write a post here?
To get paid from us, you have to submit an original blog post to our site (and have it voted to the home page). However, after you submit your post, you are more than welcome to mention this fact on your own blog, Facebook page, Twitter stream, etc.

How many times can I vote?
10 times per day. 5 votes to use before noon Pacific time and 5 votes after noon Pacific time. Votes do not carry over.

Why can I only vote 10 times a day?
We're really trying to promote and support high quality posts. Limiting the number of votes to ten helps us make sure that only the highest quality posts make it to the homepage. And remember, once you hit your ten vote limit...you can always come back the next day!

How do I earn money by writing a blog post?
You write a blog post and submit it to the site. If site members vote it to the homepage, you earn $15 for that blog post. You are welcome to F-Share your post on Facebook, Tweet it on Twitter, send it out via an e-mail to your friends and colleagues, attach the URL of your post to a carrier pigeon, and basically let your friends, family members, co-workers, and associates know in any way you like. You must, however, refrain from spamming your post to others (that never works anyway).
