What is Vegan Clothing?

Well, there is a lot of buzz these days about being a vegan in every way. We all understand it when it comes to food, but what is vegan clothing? Simply put, vegan clothing is the clothing for which no animals have been harmed. Be it leather or fur, innocent animals are killed to get their skin or fur. It is true that these materials keep us warm, but we are no longer living in the Stone Age. We have the technology available today to create clothes that can keep us safe and cozy without having to kill animals. Other clothes include silk and wool. These are not as bad as leather and fur because animals are not killed to obtain these. God has made all animals and equipped them with all they need to survive. If men and women needed fur or wool, we would have been born with it. Thankfully, we are given the ability to create shelter for us and create other things for our protection as well as comfort. Then why kill those who are weaker than us for the sake of fashion and style? I personally do not use any of the above materials for clothes or for shoes. I can say I am a completely Vegan dresser. Are you?

Neat Idea, i am not a vegan dresser right now but would like to be one. Need to find alternatives for my belt and shoes. Formal Shoes is the only item i think it is most difficult to stay away from leather. Lets see!

Wow what an interesting article, so many people are vegan and vegetarians and think this only falls into the category of food but we use animals’ parts in so many other products. It`s good to write about it and tell people that Veganism and Vegetarianism actually goes farther than the avoidance of meat.
