So I recently came across this amazing ice cream bread recipe on the internet and wanted to try out the vegan version! My mouth was drooling at the end of it and so I got straight into my kitchen. Now I've always been skeptical about fusions but I had a good feeling about this particular one. You need very few ingredients (to be precise just two- vegan ice cream and flour) and some patience to wait for the bread to cool down after it's baked before you can attack it!
So let's get started with this amazing vegan ice cream bread recipe. You can check out a recent ice cream recipe that I shared keeping this very recipe in my mind. A small tip, use vanilla or simple flavors in the beginning if you are skeptical too. I'm sharing the coconut chocolate version with you; you can change the flavor of the bread by simply changing the flavor of the vegan ice cream. Okay now back to my recipe, here are the ingredients.
2 cups of my vegan coconut chocolate ice cream
1 1/2 cup of self-rising flour
Step 1: Take a bowl and melt the ice cream a bit.
Step 2: Add in the flour and mix both the ingredients gently.
Step 3: Take a loaf pan and grease it with some vegan butter.
Step 4: Pour in the ice cream and flour mixture.
Step 5: Bake the mixture at 350 Fahrenheit for about 40 minutes.
That’s it! Let the bread cool down for a little while. The aroma of this dish is amazing! You can add some chocolate chips or shavings if you feel like; alternatively, you could add some funfetti for some color. If you would rather prefer a strong coconut flavor, you can opt to sprinkle some coconut shavings as well.
