Today I half-heartedly searched for some good books on the Vegan Lifestyle. Although I joked on Day 1 that I needed a Vegan for Dummies book, I didn’t actually think one existed. I was wrong and thankfully the brilliant publishers of the Dummies series have not forgotten us! You can preview this book HERE – I have ordered a copy because I am a fan of this series. What’s also really exciting is that this book looks like it includes a lot of information including recipes and help with stocking a vegan pantry. I definitely need help with this as this morning I was eating canned beans for breakfast, sadly right out of the can… cold.

There is so much information on the Internet that it can make you feel anxious just trying to choose what to read. If you are like me, I want to absorb it all instantly like a sponge, but I have decided that this is no different than learning a new language. First you have to learn the basics and make changes one day at a time. Living a vegan lifestyle is not like flipping a switch and taking baby steps is the easiest way, at least for me it is. I have set my goal to learn one thing per day and today I am a little less clueless than yesterday! I hope my Dummies book gets here soon!
