Who doesn’t enjoy a good cocktail from time to time? When you decide to go vegan, some of your favorites might be off limits, but there are still plenty of delicious drinks to enjoy. Try one of these cocktails tonight.
- 8 mint leaves
- 1 Tablespoon lime juice
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 2 oz. white rum
- 2 oz. coconut milk
Muddle the mint, juice and sugar with a spoon in a glass and fill the glass with ice. Pour the rum and coconut milk over the ice and top off with 7up.
- 1.5 oz. vodka
- .5 oz. Triple Sec
- 1 teaspoon simple syrup
- .75 oz. lemon juice
In a cocktail shaker, shake ice, vodka, Triple Sec, lemon juice and simple syrup. Strain into a martini glass and serve with lemon.
You can take it up a notch by rubbing the rim with lemon and then dipping into sugar.
- 2 oz. vodka
- 2 oz. Kahlua
- soy creamer
- Mix the vodka and Kahlua and pour over ice. Add a little soy creamer and serve.
