Quantum Wellness

Ouantum Wellness by Kathy Freston

Book Review

This book is loaded with very good information on breaking bad habits and instilling good healthy habits. While the author "Kathy Freston", shares her own story and struggles in stopping the things that were making her unhealthy and providing step-by-step ways she dropped her old ways of living and then picked up new healthier ways of managing her life and health. Each step she took is one that anyone can take in the fight against addictive habits and bad diet choices.

She begins with eight pillars of wellness: meditation, visualization, fun activities, conscious eating, exercise, self-work, spiritual practice, and service.

The chapters of her book deal with mental cleanse (blockings & emotions), cleanse or short-term fasting with reasons for dropping things from your diet, cleaning out the clutter, exploring vegetarianism, eating consciously, personal energy management, overcoming obstacles, becoming your own healer, breaking bad habits, settling personal and worldly aims, trying vegetarian recipies, and using vitamins & supplements.

I was really impressed with the way she presents the information in clear easy to understand steps that anyone can identify with, and be able to use this information in many ways to improve their health. The back of the book is loaded with lots of very good recipies that would fit a vegan diet.

She also highly recommends community service as a means to help others.
