New! Include Multiple Photos in Your Flaming Vegan Blog Post!

Are you ready to begin embedding multiple photos within your Flaming Vegan blog posts? We can't wait to see what you'll create! We've included plenty of photos in this post to get you inspired!

Here's how to get going:

To embed images in your TFV posts, you'll need to copy the images URL.

But how do I copy an image URL?

It's easier than it sounds! An "image URL", is just the internet address that takes you to the photo itself. Every website and/or image has an image URL (, for example).

Image URL's in particular, lead to the image's own webpage without including everything else on the page. When you click the image, it will appear separately on a page surrounded by a white, gray, or checkered background. (Something like the image below.)

From here, here's how to nab an image's own URL:

  1. Make sure you've clicked into the image to make it as large as it can be.
  2. Now, right-click—or, for Macs, hold down the control (Ctrl) key and click on the image itself.
  3. A menu of options should appear (see below).

From here, getting the Image URL depends on your web browser:

  • In Google Chrome (shown above), select "Copy Image URL."
  • In Safari, select "Copy Image Address."
  • In Internet Explorer, select "Properties." Then, highlight the address under "Address (URL)" and copy (Ctrl+C).
  • In Mozilla Firefox, select "Copy Image Location."

Once you've copied the image URL, you can paste the link and upload to your Flaming Vegan post. Simply:

  1. Click the image icon (it's rocking the image of a landscape) on the site's blog submission window.
  2. Now just copy the code into the top, or 'Source' line, and click 'OK'.

If you want to make sure you got the image URL correctly (and not the webpage URL), paste it into the URL bar at the top of your browser. Hit "Enter" and the link should take you to a page with just the image.

Upload as many images as you like within your blog post!

*Remember, all images must comply with current copyright laws and/or have been purchased by you with the appropriate license for your use. We also encourage bloggers to always draft their original text elsewhere so that work is not lost.

Happy Blogging!
