An Ancient Beauty Secret For Glowing Skin: DIY Turmeric Face Mask

This amazing spice used to add color and flavor to many Indian dishes can actually help with your acne, acne scars, and make you glow! This miracle powder has incredible anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that cause skin to look beautiful and healthy. There's no need to spend money on expensive face masks infused with harsh chemicals that advertise the same results this incredible DIY face mask can give you! Not to mention you probably have most of these ingredients at home in your own kitchen, who's ready to glow?!

Let's get started.

Here's a list of ingredients you'll need to make this amazing turmeric face mask:

  • 2 teaspoons of turmeric powder
  • 2 teaspoons of sandalwood powder
  • 1/2 cup of chickpea flour
  • A dash of almond oil
  • 2 teaspoons of water

The end result after being mixed well should be an even paste that you can apply to the face.

Leave the paste on until it is fully dry, rinse off with warm water, and pat face dry with a clean towel.

If you don't have all of these ingredients here's a more simple face mask recipe that uses turmeric as well. Who has time to go to the store?

  • 1 tablespoons of turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon of coconut milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon of honey

Mix these together to form a paste, leave on until it's fully dry, and then rise with warm water. Pat your face dry with a clean towel!

Don't forget to moisturize after doing a facial mask! I like to apply some cold-pressed extra-virgin coconut oil to my face before I go to sleep to let it soak in, and then a light store-bought moisturizer with natural ingredients and SPF before applying my makeup in the morning.

It's also important to note that these masks won't stain your face yellow! I have very light skin and was concerned about this originally when making the masks but they don't leave a yellow stain at all :)

Enjoy your beautiful skin!
